Intellectual Property Policy
Proust, Inc. ("Proust") respects the intellectual property rights of other companies and requests that our users and merchant partners do as well.
Proust is not responsible for any web sites that you may find or access when using the Proust Service. Please be aware that the content or material
available on or through the Proust Service may be protected by the intellectual property laws of the United States and/or other countries.
Proust reserves the right, at its discretion, to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who infringe the copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual
property rights of others, including, but not limited to, Proust. Proust also reserves the right to remove links or content from the Proust Service that we believe
infringe the copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights of others, including, but not limited to, Proust.
It is our policy to respond to notices of alleged intellectual property right infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright
Act (DMCA) (17 USC ยค512) or other applicable law.
Complaint Procedure
If you believe that your copyright, trademark and/or other intellectual property, accessed on or through the Proust Service, have been used in a manner that
constitutes a violation of your intellectual property rights, please contact Proust's Copyright Agent, in writing, and include the following information:
- An electronic or physical signature of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest, or an electronic or physical signature of a person
authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest;
- A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property
that you claim has been infringed;
- A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the Proust Service,
so that we can locate it;
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number,
and email address;
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized and violates the intellectual property rights of the
intellectual property rights owner, its agent or the law; and
- The statement:
"Under the pains and penalties of perjury, I represent that the information in this notice is true and correct and that I am authorized to act
on behalf of the intellectual property right's owner."
