What is your favorite childhood memory of summer?

Playing croquet in the side yard at our summer cottage on Lake Erie.
We also had a huge pop cooler in the garage that was always full of soft drinks. People were always arriving and leaving and food was being grilled all the time.

My favorite summer memory was spending the summer at the warren dunes, and Warren taught me about wolves after one barred my entrance to the woods, where there was a dirt path leading in. He taught me how wolves like kids for some reason, and can be very motherly toward them, and that more than likely, the wolf wouldn't let me in the woods because there was something in there that could hurt me.... I miss him....

Without a doubt Summer holidays in Cornwall, our family and a few others sometimes would head off camping for a week, sometimes two...everyone was always happy those weeks away.... I have tried since to recreate those summers with my own family but for some reason they never come close..

I like to remember the games and walks with my childhood friends, Dasha, Christie, Kate, Vlad, Denis, Stephan, Max. They were a part of my life, the most significant one. I watched Christie & Vlad, Kate & Stephan, Dasha & Vlad dating, and the girls told me that I will someday, too. They seemed to me so grown-up and cool that I wanted to grow up and date someone sooner. Now we're all single, the boys and the girls. These summers of my childhood are the best:)
