Мне до школы недалеко, и поэтому я хожу пешком. До школы я иду всего лишь 10 минут, и это очень удобно для меня.

Primary school I walked because it was a hundred yards up the road in the village we grew up in. Secondary school I went 7 miles on a bus...and hated every second of it daily!

Elementary school: walked.
Middle school: driven by mother.
High school: ditto.
College: residential.
Grad school mark I: drove until I dislocated my kneecap, then took the campus buses or hitched with a friend.
Grad school mark II: drove.

For the first 5 years, I walked to our near by school, then later I had to bus to the other not too far away school. When junior high and high school started I had to take the transit bus to school.
