Oh! I studied a lot! Dr. Spock, What to Expect & any other book I could find. And I quickly discovered that all of it was a huge waste of time. Ended up selling all the "how-to" books in a garage sale. I really prepared, only to find out that I wasn't prepared at all!

I really don't know how I prepared. We had only a crib and no clothes. Alvin was very supesticious and would not allow any clothes to be bought. The day she was born, he called Foley's and ordered two of everything we needed.
