iPhones had their boom around my junior year of high school. Not new, but definitely seemed that every teenager all the sudden had one junior year (Though I had one since around freshman year, and I was proud of being a hipster like that, haha)

Hard to say computers because it has been existing for quite a time but it was just not that common.

Cable TV maybe. I knew about it but it wasn't that available.

The whole iPod "touchwheel" technology came out when I was in high school and that was a huge deal.

Pagers and mobile phones. The Nokia 5110 was all the rage, with Snake taking up most people's time on the school bus.

Also Tamagotchi's were popular, although I don't recall having one myself.

September 30, 2007 No one had a smart phone yet. But iPods were big. I know Nikon released their first full-frame and I was excited about that.

All of them. Cable TV, cordless phones, cell phones, walkman, Atari, word processors, computers, VCR
