Holy cow, a ton of songs for my Dad - "Moon River", "The Last Dance", "It Was A Very Good Year", "That's Life", any Frank Sinatra song, "Reveille", Louie Prima, Dean Martin, "Ya Gotta Get Up, Ya Gotta Get Up, Ya Gotta Get Up In The Morning" and Les Miserable. My favorite was when he didn't know the words he'd start skatting - yat jat jah dat da!
Mom had a very eclectic taste in music. Fur Elise will forever remind me of her. But I also remember the Carpenters "Top of the World". She listened mostly to talk radio when she was alone in the car, but once we got in, we changed it to what we wanted to hear. She jsut went along with it. And seemed to like a lot of different music. She took my brothers to see KISS and Elton John...I mean...how cool is that??? P.S. She took me to see Andy Gibb, so there!
