Absolutely nothing...I think they knew that I was strong willed enough to do whatever I had set my mind to and let me run with it. They knew that pushing me wasn't going to get results and in fact would ruin any results I might have given.

My mom wanted me to be "normal" and she would beat me, because I couldn't live up to her standards of normal. My dad wanted me to be the best I could be, and succede on any level that I was capable of of acheiving success. -- Alissa
