Rutgers University will forever be in my heart as my alma mater and for giving me so many memorable moments. One in particular was in 2008 when I attended a reading and Q&A with my favorite author, Joyce Carol Oates. After the event, she waited to sign books. I still have my signed copy of, Beasts in my bookshelf today.
