i feel bad saying this but Ash Wednesday cause #1 - i have to fast (i know i know, penance...it's for a good cause....) and #2- it begins Lent, which begins the 40 days of giving something up dear to me. which yes, again, it's a good thing...but man it's frustrating those first few days.
