What's the worst injury you've had?

January 15, 2003 Jorgensen Park, Kalamunda WA 6076, Australia I was bouldering in Jorgenson Park with friends. I had climbed to the top of a particularly difficult climb and was dancing around on top of the rock when I slipped and fell off.
I broke my left leg in two places and gave myself a pretty serious concussion.

When and where did you learn to swim?

Leighton Beach Blvd, North Fremantle WA 6159, Australia When my parents decided we were going to move to Australia they used to take us down to the Abergaveny Leisure Centre (one of the few local sports centres that had a pool) each Tuesday and Friday night

Our second house if Australia was also a short walk from the famous LeightonBeach in Fremantle and it was here that I learned to swim in a an ocean and where I gained her Bronze Medallion.

Llangattock, Powys NP8, UK

Where did you grow up?

Llangattock, Powys NP8, UK I was born in Sweden, but I’ve always considered my home town to be Llangattock in Wales. Our house had awesome views across the Usk Valley and towards the Sugar Loaf and Black Mountains where I used to play.
When I was three years old my father killed himself after discovering his wife had been having an affair with his brother. In 1999, as result of increasing persecution after their marriage, my stepdad and mother moved the Cann and Bergström families to Perth, Western Australia and we all changed our name to Joiner.

Describe your childhood home.

The Neuadd, Bronllys, Brecon, Powys LD3 0LB, UK The Neuadd. This is a 16th century stone cottage with later 18th Century Georgian additions. It is cosy and comfortable but has high ceilings. The house is approached via a long driveway with views across the Usk Valley and towards the Sugar Loaf and Black Mountains. I shared a room with Elsa that takes the entire second floor and which is reached by a spiral staircase. There was a window to the rear and a skylight to the side. The kitchen was large, at least in my memories,

November 5, 1983 Malmö, Sweden Shortly after my birth, my parents moved the family from Sweden back to my mum's home town of Llangattock in Wales. I don't really remember Sweden at all.
