What is your favorite childhood memory of summer?

Warrior, AL, USA I stayed at my grandparents in the summer. I spend the majority of my summers outside barefoot. I still have scars on my feet from all the times I would make my feet raw from running through the woods with no shoes. Theres a small creek that runs behind their house. With my 3 cousins and younger sister I would splash in the creek looking for crawdads. I don't know how we didnt get bit by a water snake. We would all fight over who could drive the lawnmower.

Describe your childhood home.

Which one? We moved several times. I guess I would say my grandmother house was my childhood home because it was a constant. Its a small 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house with homemade wood floors that really has not change since I was little. The carport was converted into a sewing room.

Describe your high school experience.

too long for me. I was so uncomfortable with myself and people. I was constantly depressed and did not fit in with no one. I enjoyed it my last year but 1st grade through 11th was a huge struggle.

What food brings back childhood memories?

Sugar butter biscuits and green beans. My great grandmother used to make the biscuits for us after a meal and I loved them. Awmaw had a special way of making green beans that no one else can replicate. I miss her so much.

What is your earliest memory?

1989 My earliest memory is standing up in my crib and jumping up and down to get out. I also remember a birthday (maybe 3rd) I was sitting in a high chair watching my mom and grandmother make a cake. I had a plate of scrambled eggs in front of me and I was eating them with my hands.

Who were your best friends in high school & what were they like?

Eric Franks, Nick Jennings, and Jane Humber were my closest friends in high school. Eric is the sweetest guy you will ever meet who would give the shirt off his back with wicked sense of humor. Nick was always joking around and picking on me. Jane is the quirkiest girl with a personality as big as the sky. I really miss all three of them.

Where was your prom and who was your date?

Both of my proms in high school was held at McWanye Center in Birmingham, AL. The first prom I attended with a bunch of girls I hung out with. We had one guy with us. Ashely Lecroy, Jane Humber, and Katie Lee. The guy was Ashely friend named Adam. We all went to Waffle House afterwards at 11 pm. I remember I stupidly wore panty hose. What a nightmare. The second prom I went with my best friend Eric Franks. Nick Jennings and Emma Chamberless went with us to the Cheesecake Factory. Me, Eric and Nick used to be great friends and go there when I came back in town from Auburn. I really enjoyed my second prom because we all four set around and laughed at people. Eric got crowned Prom King (surprise surprise lol)
