What food brings back childhood memories?

Answered 11 months ago

My mom wasn't really the big cook in our house. However, she did make a signature meal for us now and then: chicken and rice. Granted, it was chicken cubes out of a Schwanns bag, and rice in our rice maker. I would douse my rice in butter and salt, giving it tons of impressive flavor. Sometimes, she'd even make some of these crazy delicious green beans, if we were lucky. My dad, on the other hand, always made mounds of spaghetti. As a child, I could probably eat an entire box of spaghetti all by myself. When my babysitter came over, we'd just eat noodles slaughtered in butter. Unhealthy? Yes. Memorable? Certainly.
