Who was your first crush?

There was a boy in my first grade that was very athletic, quiet and shy. I, in my 6 year old wisdom thought him so handsome and worthy of "secret admirer" letters. I think I watched too much T.V. Needless to say he was extremely embarassed by the entire episode and unfortunately was in everyone of my elementary classes until we parted ways for Middle School. Hopefully he has forgotten by now... Some girls are so silly!
I had a boyfriend in high school and my friend said something along the lines of "Someday when you guys get married" and I turned to her like she was crazy! There was no way I was even close to wanting to marry that boy.
Eventually, after many dances without a date and a good long while without a boyfriend I was being courted by someone I thought quite intriguing. That was my real first love. He did a good job capturing my interest and my heart and mind. I still think about that first love... everytime I kiss his children good night.

April 10, 2001 I went on a date with a boy who changed my plans. I was going to live in Chicago and go to art school for fashion design... I ended up married and living in Georgia before the year was out.
