It uses a lot of the analytical and 'puzzle solving' type skills that I never really used in other jobs. Over the years I learned that while I was good at retail it wasn't the best fit for my personality. I am better suited to something that involves more analysis, etc.. I still deal with customers and people but it's not the same as in retail. Plus the hours are better! Even if I end up checking on stuff on nights and weekends, I still don't have to work all the nights & weekends that I did in retail...

Researching a new-to-me point of law and then writing it up for a brief. I really feel like a proper lawyer when I do that.
