Tinley Park, IL, USA
I saw "The Who" at Tinley Park. It was just weeks after John Entwistle died. The actually recorded an album that day. Robert Plant opened and I have to say, it was an amazing experience.
I was going to take my brother Jeff. it would have been the first time he had seen them since the 1982 Farewell Tour. He had to work, so I went with a friend.
It was amazing.

Wright & MATC-Truax (NB), Madison Area Technical College, Madison, WI 53704, USA I went to Madison Area Technical College (MATC). I wanted to become a Surgical Technologist. It was the only school that offered it in the area. I was also limited in my choices of where I could go to school. MATC offered me an opportunity and I took it. I am so glad I did!

You know, looking back I really didn't have one. However, what I feel now was not how it was at the time. We did have one teacher that stood out. Caused fear in the minds and hearts of not just forth graders.
His name was Mr. Lehman. He walked the halls with a deep heavy voice, called us ding-a-lings. He ruled with an iron fist, yet, he was my favorite grade school teacher.
He challenged us everyday with Math Practicals, and taught me lessons about those who will "lead you around by the nose".
Far from the worst!

Paul DuVair. He was my 9th grade biology teacher. I struggled in his class because of a lack of attending. He gave me a second semester offer I couldn't refuse.
I failed my first semester. He told be if I got a "B" my second that he would raise my first semester grade to a pass. If I failed he would flunk me for both. Well, I got a "C" second semester.
He called me that summer and reminded me of the deal. he told me he was shocked that I eve got a "C". He was not going to fail me my second semester, and he gave me a passing grade.
he is the first of many people that gave me a second chance to make a first impression. I love him for that.

Tinley Park, IL, USA
Just days after my favorite band The Who lost John Entwistle, they played The Tweeter Center in Tinley Park. I had 2 tickets that were meant for my brother Jeff and me. He was unable to go, instead I went with Beth, my daughters mother.
Robert Plant opened the night, and Zak Starkey (son of Ringo) sat in on drums.
The concert was loud, and Pete axed his guitar into a bloody mess. It was heaven!
