My father taught me that. He just put me in the sea and swam a little bit away, and asked me to follow him, and so I did. Soon he began to swim further and further, so I had to swim faster. That's the way.

Я научилась плавать в бассейне. Сначала ходила туда в 6 лет, но не научилась и ушла оттуда. Второй раз я пошла в бассейн в 13 лет и научилась плавать. Когда я поехала в Крым, то плавала уже на отлично!

At the local swimming baths when I was about 7. I was a late learner compared to a lot of my friends. I remember it was the summer though because when I started autumn term in school my swim teacher was astounded I could do a length!!
