Infamous Mafioso Al Capone was sentenced to eleven years in prison and an $80,000 fine for tax evasion, the only charge the government could make because Capone bribed city officials and threatened witnesses. Capone became nationally recognized after he organized the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, where seven of his rivals were killed.
